Let's start
We're thrilled that you've been selected to join our school, and that we’re a great fit for each other. Together, we aim to help you achieve your running goals. Success, however, largely depends on how committed you are to following our training program. To get started, please follow these steps.
  • Step 1: Prepare Your Training Gear
    Before your first session, make sure you have the following gear ready:
    • A water bottle
    • A cap for sun protection
    • Comfortable running shorts and a t-shirt
    • The right running shoes suited for the type of training you will be doing
  • All students in our school train through the TrainingPeaks platform. Your first task is to create a standard account on TrainingPeaks, where your workouts will be assigned.
  • Step 3: Set Up a Device to Track Workouts
    To track your workouts, you can either use a sports watch or a smartphone app. If you don’t have a sports watch yet, we recommend downloading the Suunto app on your smartphone. This app allows you to record your workouts using your phone's GPS. Create an account in the Suunto app, and use it to track your runs.
  • Next, synchronize your Suunto app or sports watch with your TrainingPeaks account. This will ensure that all your workouts are recorded and uploaded automatically. Weekly training plans will be sent to you through the platform.
  • To be fully connected with your coach, you’ll need to join your coach’s team in TrainingPeaks. Follow the link provided by your coach to connect to the team and start receiving your training plans directly.
  • Step 6: Communicate with Your Coach
    After you receive your training plans on TrainingPeaks, you can also leave comments, ask questions, and communicate directly with your coach. Make sure all communication happens through the platform for better coordination.
  • Step 7: Review and Agree on Your Training Plan
    Before starting your training, be sure to review your plan with your coach and get any adjustments needed.
